who are you, where do you live, (real name, age)?

My name is lars middelhede, i live in århus, denmark.......the second biggest city in denmark, located on the mainland.
I´m 27 years old

what are you doing when you´re not playing music, (jobs, other things)?

Hmmm...when i´m not playing music, i´m starting to produce a little with my girlfriend, also i work for creamcrop label, a A&R, so i have to constantly keep in touch with acts & artists......Besides that, i love to do ALL kinds of freaky things with my friends, and i also started a kind of studio engineereducation lately....so thats going to be exciting!!!!!!

how did you come to music, did you play other instruments/music before you came to psytrance (roots)?

No, unfortunately not, i have always been hanging out with musicians, but somehow i managed not to learn anything myself...8-), but i am taking pianolessons, to get the basic feel of chords, theory, which i believe is very important, if you want to make music!!!

what is your style, how and when did you come to trancemusic, to producing, to your first gigs?

Actually, i heard my first trancemusic in the united states, almost 7 years ago, in a spooky vinylstore....i found it rather noisy, but somehow interesting, so after i went home, i bougth some cds....found out there where a cummunity, with parties, and likeminded people, my first real tranceparty, was an outdoor one...AMAZING.....after that, i became really hooked, and started buying vinyls, played at home just for fun, arranged a few parties, and got to know Emok, alhad through those........But, at one outdoor party, i met Jeff Jensen(orichalcum/alienated), and we really hit it off, and found out, that he wanted to dj, because he was tired of producing....so we formed the dj-duo O.Love, got our first gig, and played around for 2 years......through him i got to know alot of people, and at one point, at a party in portugal, where we had brougth our friend jens...Jeff & jens decided to form the label creamcrop, occupied with to much work, we decided that we couldn´t play together no more, so i kept on playing on my own, for creamcrop....and have been doing that ever since!!!!!

what is going on in your local scene?

the scene where i live, is very small, and very cozy, in Århus, maybe 500 people listenes to this kind of music, but more and more, are joining in, cause of the way the sound is going(more housy-progressive)... also people are buying studios, and are starting to produce...... In copenhagen, the scene is really big as we know..with the ibogalabel, and acts as beat bizarre, reefer, phoney orphants,koxbox and llopis.... and many exciting newcomers, as genetic spin, frogacult, cubica.....

what does trancemusic mean for you, how importand is trance for you, what do you use it for?

I LOVE all kinds of music, i hear music all the time......at home especially housemusic, which i really like for its sexiness...8-), and normal music and chill also.....BUT, in the end trancemusic moves me in a way, that no of the other styles does, its very driving, and releasing in some way.......i love to hear trancemusic at parties, its the ultimate partymusic, and thats also what i try to create when i play.....a party on the dancefloor..

what do you think about our scene and where do you think are we going to (development, future trend)?

The scene is going to get more and more professional i think.......the sounds is more progressive, the tempo is slower, the feel is more relaxed thatn before....but also i think that lots of new act, are combining psy&progressive, to create some VERY nice musicstyle.....but in this genre, anything can happen, which is the beauty of it........but i think it will get bigger and bigger...thats for sure!!

what are your releases/events until now, (discographie)?

Hmmm...i haven´t released any music, i´m first starting to produce now.... and with parties...i used to have flyers from all the places i partied, but i lost them all....8-(.....
But, i´ve played all around the globe....with almost everybody.....the only places i haven´t played is in mexico & brazil(where i would love to go...8-)

what are your futurities, upcoming releases, upcoming parties?

hopefully some releases in the future, but lets see what comes out of my studio...8-)......parties...hmmm....party with shiva shandra in oktober, labelparty with creamcrop in 2 weeks, party in copenhagen next month....but i have been doing all kinds of things this summer, and is first now returning to the world again...

what was the best, funniest or strangest experience in your carreer?

REALLY hard to say....but probably a CRAZY tour through lisbon in portugal, completely wasted on Absinth, doing so many weird things, for one thing we tried to smuggle ourself onto a luxusyatch, claiming we were famous jazzmusicians from europe..............
