Chaishop Music News presents the One Foot Groove Special - a monthly journey through the world of dark and hard psytrance. Recorded at One Foot Groove studios in Cape Town, South Africa.

This show is being presented by Nick and Dylan of One Foot Groove Records. Nick talks to Shift about his latest release, his tours around the trance capitals of the world, and his perception of the trance scene today. We also have a retrospective of The Artifakt’s work, looking at some of his very earliest and latest tracks – we also discuss his contribution as a mastering engineer. We then mention a couple of dark psy releases of the past week. The week’s mix is by The Jester of Peak Records, Switzerland. This South African is making a name for himself as an uncompromising balls-to-the-wall trance DJ, and anybody who likes their trance relentless should be sure to catch this set.
