who are you, where do you live?
DJ Pushava - David Winch - 35 years old - living in cologne

what are you doing when you´re not playing music?
I teach in and run 'der Hatha-Yoga Schule' in cologne

how did you come to music, did you play other instruments/music before?
I started Djing at the age of 16,in school
discoat the age of 18 I moved to Hamburg were I started to dj professionaly
in Savoy,that was in 1984.

how did you came to psytrance?
1989 was the first time i went to India to the
Osho ashram in poona.during my stay there i went to goa , and enevitably
ended up on a party.back then the party music was very open minded all sorts
of new elektronic dance musik was played,from all over the world.PsyTrance
was the death of the inovative musicscene that goa once was.1994 was the
last time i bothered going back to Goa.

what is your style, how and when did you come to
trancemusic, to producing,
to your first gigs?
Funkie Tesch/trance!

what is going on in your local scene?
Last year NEWDRIFT recordstore openned in Köln,this gave the scene fresh
imput and has become a meetingpoint for Djays artists veranstalte
etc....since then many new possibilities have opened up here in köln.More
parties are happenning the scene, dare I say it, is comming closer
together.now there is also a definate Kölner Trance Sound , progressive
hypnotic&Tanzbar.

what does trancemusic mean for you, how importand is
trance for you, what do you use it for?
sorry for the non-esoteric answer,but Trance is just a music style,like R&B
Rock and Roll or what ever.Its what I like,and I'm very good at making
people dance to it and have a nice time on the party.I'm to long in the
Buisness for spirituell answers.,

what do you think about our scene and where do you think are we going to?
it goes on turning round and round and round..........

what was the best, funniest or strangest experience in your carreer?
the best voov'96
the funniest Solipse Hungary...1000% Anarchy..was Exhaustingly Wonderfull
