Talpa a.k.a. Goran Juric was born on 22nd of July, 1982. The very first idea for this project he got in November 1999 attending the big techno/trance party "TraNSplant 2" in mega-club 'Paradiso' in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Soon after starts the big and active work on music making and production inspired by original goa trance sound. Many tracks are compiled, production gets better and better and after 3 years of hard work he finally finds the sound that will become his main occupation in the upcoming period.

Making contacts with Trance labels, record companies and artists around the world who showed a big interest in this project is the first big step in his career. His music finally gets its way to the audience.

After thoughtful negotiations a decision is made: "SunDance records" from Australia. In the summer of 2002 they released two Talpa's tracks on the 'Vibraspirit 23' compilation: 'Kalashari' + 'Mandragor'. In the summer of 2003 http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/sud/sud1cd023.html one more track found its place on SunDance's release 'SunDaze'. Apart from project Talpa, Goran works on one more project (currently without any working name) which goes deeply into downbeat music mixing it with psy trance and freestyle flavor...

TALPA aca Goran Jurici was supposed to fly to Australia to play on various events all over the down under. But it wasn't meant to be probably as now we can happily announce his appearance for the 4th time in Romania. He played on all Transylvania calling festivals (2004, 2005 + 2007)

His musical talent has been discovered from dj Styx (Head of Dreamtime Productions Romania) long time ago in Australian bush party's and directly from the Home base of demon tea rec. and Sundance rec. Label manager dj Franny. Styx fell in love with Talpa music straight away. They become friends over the net and kept in touch since then. But many years he had to wait (3 years) for the Album "ART OF BEEING NON" http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/sud/sud1cd025.html to be released finally and he could hear it again and again and again :) also could people from all over the world finally go crazy on his special well arranged and melodic Psytrance sound. His music was often misunderstood as Infected Mushroom old school sounds etc. But everyone who is listening can hear that his music is very unique and not to confuse with any other project. His music varies from full on melodic, to hard fast nighttime and progressive funky sounds to downbeat and chill out ambient sound z.
