The Idea behind the ‘Fu-Cha Gathering’ is to bring together the best underground electronic music acts from around the country to perform at a venue away from the hustle and bustle of the city, giving people a unique festival atmosphere with their own place of comfort. The best available dj’s and acts will gather for an unforgettable 30hr experience fulfilling your body mind and soul culminating in a satisfying weekend get-away. This type of festival is a common way of life for party go-ers in CapeTown and the ‘Fu-Cha’ team is setting their long term goal for ‘A Fu-cha Gathering Dance Valley’ in Gauteng…

The Enchanted Forest
The Fu-Cha team was delighted to have come across such an awesome venue complete with everything necessary for a festival of this nature. The Enchanted forest has been built as a health spa complete with ‘5 star’ bathroom & shower facilities, 2 swimming pools (one heated), a lake, awesome bar facilities and mini lapa’s perfect for the stalls at the event. The Forest has plenty of space for a camping site and also has chalet and bungalow facilities. Incase of rain there is a barnyard and a huge lapa that will be used instead.

NB: The Enchanted Forest is complete with beautiful vegetation and a lot of effort has been put into creating this awesome getaway. We appeal to all to be responsible with respect to litter and any damage to the property is deemed unacceptable.
Directions: From Jhb: + - 30mins from HansStrijdom.
Take the Hans Strijdom off-ramp and head towards Harebeestpoort dam, after driving approximately 30km’s you will arrive at a T-Junction. Turn left at the T-Junction and drive for another 20km’s until you arrive at another T-Junction. Turn right and after 1km you will see the sign & entrance to the Enchanted Forest on your left.Drive in and security will direct you to the parking area.

•A fully catered kitchen providing us with a vast variety of healthy food will be on hand to provide for all the hungry tummy’s. Schwarma’s, Salads, Burgers, Bacon & Eggs, Steaks, Boerie Rolls etc. will be cooked by friendly & experienced kitchen staff.
•Situated between the 2 dance floors will be our awesome Bar Facilities which will be managed by our friendly & experienced ‘Fu-Cha’ bar staff, whipping up cocktails, shooters and all your favorite beverages… This on it’s own will be an experience to be remembered.
•Interesting stalls selling anything from crystals to clothing.
•Swimming Pools will have lifeguards for any incident that may occur
•A First aid paramedic will be on site at a dedicated base for any accidents, cuts & bruises.

Gates open 12h00 on Saturday afternoon and music will end at 18h00 Sunday afternoon.

Tips for first timers

•Anyone who has been to a festival of this nature before will tell you that it’s essential to have your own space of accommodation. A tent shared amongst friends is perfect to have as a base to experience everything this festival has to offer, the awesome shower facilities will ensure your comfort and your base will allow you to step out of the fun for a rest whenever you like. No need to be traveling back home at some silly hour.
•Bring a warm jacket and at least one change of clothes to ensure your comfort.
•Swimming gear, towels and sun block are essential.
•Bring your own toiletries if you’re going to have a shower.
