events including Glastonbury (UK), Dance Valley (Amsterdam), Phonix (UK) and
the legendary Megadog parties (UK).

Hailing from pioneering psychedelic rock outfit Ozric Tentacles, Eat Static
(Merv & Joie) have made music with a maverick spirit. For starters, while a
lot of dance acts mimed, Eat Static insisted on playing live, earning an
enduring reputation as one of the premier live electronic outfits in UK.

Having played alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Grooverider, Orbital,
Prodigy, Underworld and Dub Pistols. And while technical brilliance has
never eluded them, emotion and melody have always shone just as brightly.
Only a couple of years into their career, Eat Static had already found
themselves nominated Best Dance Act in the UKs NME Readers Poll, with the
following year seeing them charting at No. 11 with second album, 'Implant.
Their album In The Nude is superior DIY electronic brain boogie.
