Xpo 2002 is a 6 day Exhibition of Music and A festival of trance.
Believe. Believe is our key word.
We believe in the music.We believe in the labels and in them knowing music the best. We believe that they should be in charge of lineups; therefore we let them build their own lineup. 8 hours per label, 2 labels per day. That’s the way our main stage will work.
We also believe in the future, therefore we found Isratrance, the Specialists in Israeli trance and asked them to tell us who they think will be the big names if Israeli trance within a few years. Their answer will be heard on our main stage as well.
But there can be no future without a past. We will bring you a special presentation of the History of Goa. 6 hours of music of 10 years ago, how it all was when it started.
We also believe that bridges between places should be crossed, for this we bring the Crossing Bridges crew from Kosovo to Bulgaria, to show us how to connect.
And the Tsunami NY-IL cooperative will let us see how Globalization can be good and that multinational projects can actually become beneficial.
And we do not forget about the Scene of the place that we came to, a large portion of time on the second dance floor will be dedicated to local Bulgarian and Balkan DJ’s Support your local groovers a wise man said.
And of course a festival is never a festival without a promise of some wild and beautiful nature, so we got a lake, with the dancefloor on the shore of the lake. And all the usual festival stuff with Amazing Deco, living lights at night and aliens landing in the middle of noon (if they hear our call to them).
But then we will have something new in concept, a music exhibition area, for every label / music industry / activist whatever can come and exhibit and show to everyone what are they up to for the next months, An improvement to the old grapevine.
Ah and we must not forget the chill out zone, and the creative arts and crafts area, the Anjuna style flea market and the second 24 hour stage, the mystique encampment and the open to all sound systems campsite (and if you contact us in advance we will even provide electric power for you), the volleyball courts and the chance to meet new friends at this meeting place in the middle of south Europe.
