The word "Pumpui" originates from Thailand, it means: belly, full stomach

The roots of Pumpui grow back to 1996 when they entered the underground party scene, and
numerous parties were organized by them under the name Aranyhal Productions (~Goldfish
Productions). In 1999 they took part in organizing the Solipse '99 Festival.
With new concept and members (Patrice, D-Lay, KrinyO) Pumpui was born in 2003. The cooperation of the founders integrated event organizing, arts and computer knowledge
into an effective whole. Since 2003, their fields of activities have widened and many new members have joined the team. Their workshop has given birth to numerous decor installations which are made to be in harmony with the enchanted locations where they are presented. They have challenged themselves in visual arts and became the festival's resident vj-team. This year will be the third to participate in the festival as decorators/vjs.
They have also produced movies in the past and as a new project, the O.Z.O.R.A. 2005 DVD.
