Sona Shine got involved in music by producing electronic music shows, “Altribe: The Tribe That Dances  to The Digital Prophecy” and “Happysouls Techno Farm” at Açik Radio since 2001. In the winter of 2004 she started dj’ing disco, old school house, breakbeat and electro tunes in small clubs and parties. She was a resident dj of Dogzstar for a year. With a broataste of music ranging from rock to jazz, hip-hop to funk&soul, Sona had already had her share of Goatrance as a music explorer. After being totally eclipsed by the 2006 Soulclipse festival, she made her move and started spinning psytrance which led her to a long journey towards Chapora, the beaches of Anjuna, Koh Phangan and the mountains of Nepal. By 2010 Sona Shine has joined forces with Mind Funk Records and is so proud to be part of this beautiful family of true psychedelic music defenders.

Besides venues such as Dogzstar, Auf, Dirty, Saklıkent, Karga and Studio Live, Ban Sabaii (Koh Phangan, Thailand), she performed in various small and large scale outdoor festivals,  like Rock’n Coke, 2006 Turkey and  Rhythms of Peace, 2006 Morocco, Shanti Tribe Parties, Elemental Evolution etc. She has performed among artists such as Astral Projection, Guy Salama, Atomic Pulse, Atmos, Bizarre Contact, Bliss, Electro Sun, Fatali, Mekkanika, Naked Tourist, Menog, Space Tribe, Ankur, Shawnodese, Dark Elf, Teo, Super Sam and more...

Always willing to discover more in music, Sona is focused on Nightpsy lately. Always playing tracks that make her dance in joy, she wishes to rip your mind and put it in your heart... She kicks hard, yet with mercy :)
