We had a very intense spring and the beginning of summer here in Mexico, with a increase of psychedelic parties, having great DJs like Planet B.E.N., James Monroe, Gus Till, Dominic Lamb , Ilka, and we had also Astral Projection and Space Cat performing ìliveî acts. On June we had the Star Sounds Orchestra playing a live set, with the support of Alpha ( mushroom ) and Sam ( chaishop ) and some local ,djing. The place was located in a top hill with a very nice view of Mexico city, surrounded by woods . The party started a few hours late, it seems that the organizers had some problems with the weather but finally Moon-o started to lay down some great tunes and the people began to move.Star Sounds Orchestra was really and absolutely wicked and energetic show, the people where too amazed, and most for seeing this set of huge gongs being smashed masterly by Jens Zigar, we have never seen anything like that.The deko of the party was very bright and gave a lot of dimension to the party, most parties in Mexico donít have that element, and was a good surprise they took their time to do it. After Star Sounds Alpha began to play and he put very serious nice night tracks for the deligth of the crowd ( about 600 ) he had some problems with a turntable so he decided to make a hand and hand set with Sam, was a very nice thing to see and they played several hours until the early morning when Sam transported us with a great set of progressive and psychedelic sounds. One of the best parties I have been , the place was very beautifull , the vibe was very nice and special, the people really did an effort to arrive to the place because of the weather and because there was traffic jam in the city , thatís why all the people where very relaxed and happy to be there.

Hope the M&CH come back to Mexico, it was really nice to have them here.
